Swords of Aroc

A New Fantasy Series Arriving Soon!

I am excited that my Swords of Aroc made it into our publication cue.

The series is set in my Dragon Speakers World and takes place seventy years after Defying the King, the second book of the Dragon Speakers duology. I've finished five of the six books in the series. They have been edited. Rachel is working on the covers while I finish writing book six. 

So we are almost ready to start releasing them. Yay!

Right now the plan is for six novels. There may be more in the future. As with all my writing, my characters seem to have more control over their stories than I do.

You can think of the series as weather. "Cloudy with the possibility of shower" might translate to "six with a possibility of more." I would welcome more.

I love the characters in this series. They are fun quirky and always entertaining. I'll write more about them in another post.

If you've read Dragon Speakers and Defying the King, some of the characters from those books will show up here.

Katherine of Synjar, House of the Black Panther and her crew of adventurers manage to get into more trouble than most people.

Each story can stand alone, but I would recommend reading them in order. I'm not going to give away much, but here are a few bread crumbs.

• These books are not young adult books. They are fantasy adventure stories.
• Kat and her crew are the kind of adventurers who run into the fray and don't hold back.
• Of course, there are dragons.
• The Dragon Speaker dragons show up occasionally.
